Tips on how to get here

Thanks for your booking I look forward to meeting you.

The address is 180 Killingworth Rd Yea so it’s best to go through the main street of Yea past the Foodworks supermarket and the Police station on your left-hand side going towards Mansfield.

You will pass over the Yea River and past the Yea River Wetlands John Cummins Reserve.

Killingworth Road is next on your left,  just after the 60 km signs leaving Yea. WoodDuck is about 1.7 km along Killingworth Road, so as you come down the hill you will pass Williamsons Road on your right (a dirt road).

You will need to slow down and take the next driveway on your right-hand side (black gates) and the WoodDuck sign on the front fence. Follow the main driveway going past the main house to where the cottage (very back) and the cabin is located at the rear of the property.

There is a key safe at the backdoor and we will text the number to open and retrieve the key.

Special tip: Don't let your GPS take you to West Killingworth Rd.

Only 109 km north east of Melbourne, close to the high country and the Yarra Valley. Yea is easy access to surrounding areas such as Lake Eildon and a short distance from gorgeous Victorian townships of Trawool, Seymour, Limestone, Murrindindi, Glenburn, Flowerdale, Strath Creek, Yarck and Alexandra.

Three main highways converge from Yarra Glen, Seymour and Benalla/Mansfield. Yea is the most charming of all the towns and a popular stopping point for travellers in the area with lots of local facilities and restaurants.

Established in 1855 along what was once called Muddy Creek, the town provides accommodation and refreshment from a variety of hotels and establishments, making it an ideal alternative route out of Melbourne when heading north.

The Goulburn Valley Highway (B340) passes through this major town, and meets with Melba Highway (B300). The surrounding areas are a mecca for motorcyclists with some great touring roads in the Mt Slide area to the south, and east towards the High Country out of Mansfield from here.
