Wood Duck Cottage is situated on 8 acres in Killingworth Road, about 8 minutes from Yea township, in the peaceful surrounds of the countryside. Choose from the house, the cottage, or the bunk house or a combination to suit your family’s needs.

109 km north east of Melbourne, close to the high country and the Yarra Valley. Yea is easy access to surrounding areas such as Lake Eildon and a short distance from gorgeous Victorian townships of Trawool, Seymour, Limestone, Murrindindi, Glenburn, Flowerdale, Strath Creek, Yarck and Alexandra.

Three main highways converge from Yarra Glen, Seymour and Benalla/Mansfield. Yea is the most charming of all the towns and a popular stopping point for travellers in the area with lots of local facilities and restaurants.

Established in 1855 along what was once called Muddy Creek, the town provides accommodation and refreshment from a variety of hotels and establishments, making it an ideal alternative route out of Melbourne when heading north.

The Goulburn Valley Highway (B340) passes through this major town, and meets with Melba Highway (B300). The surrounding areas are a mecca for motorcyclists with some great touring roads in the Mt Slide area to the south, and east towards the High Country out of Mansfield from here.
